If you simply require a casual, off-the-cuff valuation, this is a service that cannot be provided without seeing the item at first hand, and you would therefore be best advised to approach a local dealer or auction house in your area.
If you have a medal or a collection of medals that you do wish to sell, then your call or e-mail is welcomed, but please note that an offer cannot be made without seeing and examining the item(s). Thank you.

 325. Johann IV von Manderscheid, Bishop of Strassburg, 1569 Bust right, draped, in high-collared robe and wearing a biretta. An elaborate armorial shield. Attributed to Lorenzo Fragni. Silver, cast. (12.60 grammes). 32.70 mm. (1.30 inches) in diameter. Nearly extremely fine and a good cast. Sorry this item is sold. References: Habich (Italian Medals, 1916), p. 239; Forrer VIII, 114. Notes: Johann IV von Manderscheid was Bishop of Strassburg (1569-92). Lorenzo Fragni (fl.1550-80), also known as Lorenzo Parmense, a Parma goldsmith, and a gem, coin and medal engraver, was employed at the Papal Mint in Rome (Forrer II, 133-35). A comparable, if slightly better, example of this rare medal was sold by Sotheby's (London) on 8 July 1997, Lot 235 (£3000).
