Draped bust of Cortona, to right.
The figure of Fame, reclining to right, pointing with a sceptre towards a circlet of stars, immediately above.
By Francois Cheron. Signed on both sides: 'Cheron. F.'
Bronze, cast. 73 mm. (2.9 inches) in diameter.
Very fine and attractive, with a dark patination; a sharp cast.
Sorry this item is sold.
