Grand-Duchess Alice (1843-1878) was the second daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. She married Grand-Duke Ludwig of Hesse in 1862.

Provenance: the Estate of the late Victor, 3rd Vicount Churchill (1934-2017), cousin of Winston Churchill and descended through the Dukes of Marlborough.
