Reference:5222 Henry VIII Groat, 1544

Bust of Henry VIII three-quarter facing / shield.

Third Coinage groat (1544-47) of the Canterbury Mint.

Condition: Nearly very fine, with an attractive olive colour.

Notes:

A pleasing, somewhat rugged portrait. Some weakness in upper right-hand quarter of shield and a little short of flan on one part of the edge, but nonetheless a nice coin with a pleasing old cabinet tone.
