Uniformed bust of Napoleon, left. A radiate sun rising over the continent of Europe, on which France and England are identified; a sprig of laurel wreath over the former, swirling clouds and a thunderbolt over the latter. Signed J.P. Droz below the bust. Copper-gilt, 55 mm. (2.2 inches).

Condition: Good extremely fine, the gilding brilliant and most attractive.

Notes: Jean-Pierre Droz 91746-1823) was a celebrated engraver of coin and medal dies, working in both Paris and Birmingham.
