A very finely worked profile cameo portrait, to left, of a young man, in his late teenaged years or early twenties.

Oval, 37 x 31 mm.

Condition: Extremely fine.

Notes:

The portrait bears more than a passing resemblance to a young Prince Albert (1839-1861). It has been very finely executed, the various points of detail, such as that of the hair, finished with considerable skill.
