Medals

Reference:5280 Thomas Watson, 1923

Large bust of Thomas Watson to left.

By Theodore Spicer-Simson.

Bronze, cast. 150 mm.

Condition: Extremely fine

Notes:

Thomas Watson, inventor, collaborated with Alexander Graham Bell in the development of the telephone. The cast medallic work of Spicer-Simson was produced in very small numbers, and it is thought that less than ten examples of this particular medal were made.
