Coins

Reference:5077 King James I Sixpence, 1605

Crowned bust to right / 1605 above shield.

Mint mark Lis.

Condition: Almost extremely fine with attractive, multi-hued toning

Notes:

Struck in the year of the Gunpowder Plot, the coin is a most attractive example of its type, with excellent surfaces and a very nice colour. It carries a superbly detailed portrait of King James I, almost entirely free form any wear.
